Video-Section: Riding
by the Sea

|
From the Horse Holiday
Farm you can ride directly on to Trawalua and Streedagh Strands,
capture sunrise and sunset along miles and miles of sandy beaches,
horses and riders reflected in the wet sand.
While the notion of a two-mile gallop through the surf of the Atlantic
Ocean might sound really attractive to the experienced rider, that
attraction might also be tinged with apprehension for the less experienced.
Riders who want to practice or improve their riding and jumping skills
can do so at the excellent cross country course, Tilman’s pride
and joy, which he has developed at the farm with 52 natural obstacles,
walls to jump and rivers to wade through on the 250 acre farm, the
cross country course offers challenge to riders of varying riding
abilities.
On the Riding by the Sea programme riders must be minimum Intermediate
standard, this programme is also suited to very experienced riders.
Children must be over 12 years of age and good
riders and also must be capable of spending long hours in the saddle.
