You can use the
Horse Holiday Farm as a base from the duration of your stay.
From here you can ride along small country roads, beaches and
mountains, waterfalls, lakes and historic castles and houses.
At Drumcliffe churchyard you can see the grave of the Irish poet
W. B. Yeates and ponder the inscription.
Cast a cold eye
On life, on death.
Horseman, pass by!
Along the routes
there are plenty of places to rest. You can stop at a country
pub and have a chat with a refreshing drink. Ireland
is a land with music and song great culture and friendly people.
You can sleep
while your horse eats – just
relax and your horse relaxes with you.
In this majestic area with a variety of seascape and landscape
it must be unique to watch the riders come back from the seashore
with boats in the foreground and the seals wobbling over the sand
near Dernish Island
