Horseback riding is an ideal way to experience the scenic contrast of sandy beaches, forest paths and lake dappled landscapes.

The trail riders are equipped with saddle bags and maps of the routes and a list of pre booked accommodation for horses and riders. There are four Trails: The Sligo Trail, Yeats Trail, Donegal Trail South and Donegal Trail West.

Ride along the rugged western coastline across miles of moors and forest trails through quite valleys the Blue Stack Mountain range and a perfect coastline.

At the stops along the way a hearty welcomes for horse and rider. Take the chance to a sip tea and a chat to the families.

Wherever you ride on these trails you see the ruins of ancient castles, monastic settlements and farm buildings that have existed along this western seaboard of Europe since Columbus set sail for America.

Here history is written on the landscape dotted with milestones of historical social change – landmarks have long disappeared from the mainland Europe.

We are offering wonderful self lead trails but it is not advisable to ride alone.
We prefer it if you are a minimum of 2 people. If you don't have a riding companion we have the possibility to help you find one on our
